What Happens in a Session?
The event starts with an introduction from Katie, where we'll hear more about this month's theme. Before we start, we’ll move our bodies, meditate and connect to our breath to help bring us into the present moment. You'll have an opportunity to explore the theme using thought-provoking journal prompts. There will be an option to share anything that you have written. You'll be guided on a 25-minute transformational breathwork journey. This is followed by an empowering 20-minute meditation around the theme. You will be fully supported on how to integrate after the event.
The best part about this event is that it can be conveniently done from the safety of your own home. You won’t have to leave the house and rush to the session, saving you time and avoiding the stress of being in a hurry. You will also have more time for quiet reflection after the session. You'll end up feeling calm and relaxed, not having to rush off to the next thing.

The breathwork for this session is a Bee Breath. Using the fiery Aries energy we are going to be looking to find our inner shadow. The parts of us we are yet to explore, acknowledge and love. Use the courage of Aries to find your inner cheerleader during this breathwork of self-exploration. You'll be learning how to truly believe in yourself. It's time to welcome in the new beginnings.
May - using the elements
The breathwork for this session is an elemental breathwork. Summer is just around the corner. It's time to explore the elements and what they represent and mean for us. With the element of air allowing us to float freely into the summer, it's important to ground ourselves in the earth. Find out how water can allow us to flow and express ourselves. Can fire can help us to step into our authentic self?
June - Slowing down
The breathwork for this session is Infinity Breath. The heat of the summer can make us feel like we should be doing everything all at once. It's important in these moments to step into the stillness. To find calmness whilst your calendar is filled to the brim with social occasions. The question for this session is how can you feel comfortable in the quiet? If you're someone who constantly has to be doing, this is the session for you.

How to prepare your space
To prepare for your session, set up your space beforehand with - a journal & pen - yoga mat (a bed is also okay but might make you want to drift off) - eye mask - two pillows, or a bolster and a pillow - a blanket - speaker/headphones for the sound - water Create a relaxing atmosphere with incense, essential oils, candles, or energy-clearing materials. Ensure a distraction-free, safe space for the breathwork journey. Your camera will need to be on from the start. You must be seen on camera from the head to the waist for the breathwork journey.
LATE ARRIVALS
When you're late to a session like this, it's often a sign that you need it the most. However, arriving late can be really disruptive for others. If you arrive late to the session, you might not be admitted. This is to ensure a safe space isn't being disrupted. If you think you are going to be late, please email or WhatsApp Katie as soon as possible so she can try and accommodate your needs.
How to PREPARE BEFOREHAND
■ Avoid eating a big or heavy meal two hours before ■ Try to avoid caffeine on the day of the class ■ Try to avoid rushing off after the class - you may need to take a little longer to integrate ■ Wear comfortable clothing ■ Avoid alcohol 24 hours before the class ■ You will also be advised not to drink 24-36 after the class
Can Anyone do this type of Breathwork?
Breathwork may not be for you if you have the following conditions: ■ Cardiovascular problems ■ High or abnormal blood pressure ■ History of aneurysms ■ Epilepsy or history of seizures ■ Anyone on heavy medication ■ Severe psychiatric symptoms ■ Psychosis or paranoia ■ Bipolar depression ■ Osteoporosis ■ Recent surgery ■ Glaucoma ■ Pregnancy ■ Any person with mental illness who isn’t in treatment or lacks adequate support ■ Anyone experiencing an emotional or spiritual crisis. This list is not all-inclusive. It is highly recommended that if you have a question about a condition you may have that is not listed, consult a physician or your doctor before beginning breathwork. These sessions are not a replacement for medical treatment, medication or psychotherapy.
