About the event

On the 23rd April, there will be a new moon in Scorpio. It's asking us to express our boundaries to honour our energy and growth. Arriving at the end of the mercury retrograde this will be a time to re-establish our roots and feel grounded once again.

During this breathwork event, you will be exploring how to express yourself, especially when it comes to setting boundaries. This is so you can welcome in a newfound clarity and calmness to your life. Leave work worries at the door. Put life stresses on pause. Join me for 2 hours, putting your thoughts and feelings first. Gifting yourself the ultimate self-care.

The event starts with an introduction from Katie where we'll hear more about this month's theme. You'll have an opportunity to explore your thoughts around the theme using thought-provoking journal prompts. There will be an option to share anything that you have written. You'll be guided on a 25-minute transformational breathwork journey. This is followed by an empowering 20-minute meditation around the theme. You will be fully supported on how to integrate after the workshop. Read more about the healing modalities used in this event here.

The best part about this event is that it can be conveniently done from the safety of your own home. You won’t have to leave the house and rush to the session, saving you time and avoiding the stress of being in a hurry. You will also have more time for quiet reflection after the session. You'll end up feeling calm and relaxed, not having to rush off to the next thing.

Are you ready to reset for a refreshed you?

You will be guided by Katie from KatieHart.JustBreathe. Katie is a kind and understanding facilitator with heaps of experience guiding others. Her certifications are in Breathwork and Reiki. She has also undergone trauma-informed training.

Additional Information

How to prepare the space

To prepare for your session, set up your space beforehand with

  • a journal & pen
  • yoga mat (it can be a bed but this can make you want to drift off)
  • eye mask
  • two pillows, or a bolster and a pillow
  • a blanket
  • speaker
  • water

Create a relaxing atmosphere with incense, essential oils, candles, or energy-clearing materials.

Ensure a distraction-free, safe space for the breathwork journey. Your camera will need to be on from the start. You must be seen on camera from the head to the waist for the breathwork journey.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late to the journey you might not be admitted. This is to ensure a safe space that isn't being disrupted. If you think you are going to be late please email Katie as soon as possible so she can try and accommodate your needs.

Pets

You're welcome to have your pet in the room with you for your breathwork journey. Most of the time they'll sleep quietly but occasionally they'll get curious. They may want to sniff or lick around your face but they often become disinterested and settle back down. If you have any questions about this, don't hesitate to get in touch.

What Have Others Said About The Somatic Healing Events?

I had a breathwork and meditation class with Katie which was carried out via zoom.  Katie made suggestions to help set the scene and the beauty of taking part online is you can thoroughly relax in your own home without having to contemplate the journey home especially beneficial in the dark cold winter months.  Katie is a warm and bubbly person and she immediately makes you feel at ease. I felt safe and relaxed during the two hour session and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

Linda, Retired

The guided meditation was my favourite part, my reaction to it taking me completely by surprise! Thank you so much, Katie, it was a wonderful supportive, healing and opening experience.

Claire, Artist

Katie guided me through the session beautifully, really supporting me with what I needed to work through. I felt lighter after the session and gained some clarity of my intention.

Annie, Psychotherapist
